Guest houses: an old Provencal sheepfold

the sheepfold, guest rooms

When we returned from India in 2017, we set out to find the property of our dreams in order to operate guest rooms. We discovered this old sheephouse in the mill. An atypical building with romantic comfort set outside the standards, nestled in a valley at the door of Taradeau,A Provençal village.

Guesthouses are an art of living. We were looking for a place out of the ordinary, full of character. A place where each of its defects would turn into quality and difference. An atmosphere in our image.

A historic house with its history

 La - Poolside House

The House on the pool side

The mill’s sheepfold dates back to the late 18th century. It is a large stone building. Depending on the time, it was according to the times an oil press, an inn, a private house. Now it has become a friendly and atypical guesthouse, far from current standards. It is certain that you will not find the modernism of the guest rooms respecting the strict criteria of the multiple labels. But you will meet the warmth of the authentic. You will rediscover human relationships. You will be welcomed without protocol zeal, like our best friends.

Guest rooms each with their own personality

Lavender, Grenier, Geraniums, Honeymoon… The names of the rooms are set and suit you for moments of calm, love, romance, passion. From the cozy little room to the spacious suite to the four-poster bed overlooking a balcony. We attach great importance to the comfort of the bed. Only our small geraniums room is equipped with a single double bed. All other guest rooms are in King size or Queen size beds. Of course, beautiful bathrooms are attached and all accommodations are air-conditioned.

More than a guesthouse, a place filled with love, freedom and respect

Come in and be home. Enjoy the pool, the jacuzzi, the small intimate outdoor lounges. It’s not very hot, a sauna is waiting for you, or a drink by the fire. You like to be free, no worries, clothes are only optional in places of relaxation, but be sure to respect the sensitivity of everyone. Tolerance, acceptance of others, respect for others. Whatever your orientation, your sensitivity, your color, your religion, you are welcome here. Humanity is rich in the differences of those who compose it. Let’s get even richer by sharing our life experiences.
